STAUNTONS ON THE GREEN GUEST HOUSE DUBLIN - LOCATION

From Airport:

Aircoach (Donnybrook route) departs from Dublin Airport approx every 15 minutes. The cost is € 7.00 per person one way. The Aircoach stops on Lower Leeson Street which is approx. a 4 minute walk from Stauntons on the Green. Full details available on www.aircoach.ie

The City bus number 746 also departs from Dublin Airport and stops on Lower Leeson Street. Cost of ticket is approx € 1.80 per person one way.

You can take a taxi from Dublin Airport if you wish and the cost is approx. € 32.00

From Connolly Train Station or Heuston Train Station:

The most direct route from Connolly Station, Dublin is to take a taxi to the Guesthouse

From Heuston Station, Dublin you can take either a taxi to the Guest house or the number 92 bus to the NORTH side of St Stephens Green Park. A short stroll straight through St Stephens Green Park will bring you to the SOUTH side of the Green where Stauntons on the Green is located.

City Buses from Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port to Lower Leeson Street / St Stephens Green area:

46A or 746 Both these buses pick up passengers outside the Dart Station. Ask any attendant at the Ferry Port for directions to the Dart Station which is a short stroll from the Ferry Port.

Luas: {Tram}

Known as the green line the Luas operates between St Stephens Green and Sandyford via Harcourt Street.

Driving by car:

Follow directions for the City Centre to O’Connell Street . Pass over O’Connell Bridge and onto D’Olier Street . At traffic lights on D’Olier Street follow traffic to the right bringing you passed the main gate of Trinity College on your left. Keeping left follow road to the left onto Nassau Street. Take 2nd turn right off Nassau Street onto Kildare Street. Top of Kildare Street go left and drive to the 2nd set of traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right onto Pembroke Street and drive to the top of the street to traffic lights. At traffic lights turn right onto Lower Leeson Street down to the junction. Straight through junction onto the SOUTH side of St Stephens Green Park. Stauntons on the Green is located approx quarter way down on the left.
