"My boyfriend and I just returned from a 5 night stay at charming Stauntons on the Green. Great location on St Stephens Green , near Grafton St. shopping and many pubs and restaurants. We had a nice double on the front facing the Green: street noise was minimal. The staff was terrific: friendly and warm. The Irish breakfast was delicious and included in the very reasonable rates. We hated to say goodbye, and would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed at Stauntons in July – fabulous location – can walk to most museums, shopping, tourist attractions. Charming rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent value. Ask for a room if you enjoy the street sounds, a garden room if you prefer quiet. I always prefer the front overlooking St Stephens Green."

Everyone went out of their way to help make our first trip to Dublin as enjoyable as we always thought it would be. No question was too trivial, and the staff were just spectacular. "Having just returned from a two-night stay in the hotel, I was a little worried, having booked the hotel, having not read the previous feedback. We had an excellent stay, we have previously stayed at Jury’s Custom House; Stauntons was a refreshing change from the ‘’normal’’ hotel room experience. Our room was excellent, magnificent ceilings, fireplace and view over the garden. The hotel was an opportunity to stay in a Georgian town house, overlooking a wonderful park, within easy walking distance of the main centre. If you are looking for a hotel with bags of character – Stauntons is for you…."

"My husband and I stayed in the Hotel St George for a three night stay. We both have to say that we had a wonderful time at this hotel. The price was very reasonable and rooms were very clean. We also had a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff at the Hotel St George were very pleasant. "

"Our stay at the St. George Hotel was brief but satisfying. We had stayed north of the Liffey and wanted to be closer to the N-1 to get to the airport on our departure and chose the hotel based on its location. Walking on O'Connell Street was a pleasure and took no time to get over to Temple Bar and Grafton Street areas. Dublin is a very walkable city. The hotel was quiet and clean. Our room was on the 6th floor. The room was very clean and fairly large with a nice view of the street. I love the older smaller hotels. The breakfast was delicious and large. St. George Hotel is a fine base for seeing Dublin."

“We stayed at Waltons Hotel for paddy’s day and could not have found a hotel with more atmosphere the bar was decorated. The girls on the desk were nice and joining in n the fun of the parade and so on. Best breakfast and plenty of it. Kitchen staff were excellent had a great women serving us the breakfast. We will go back”
