Garden of Remembrance -
The garden is to commemorate all the people that died while fighting for the freedom of Ireland. The garden has a sculpture at the rear of the Children of Lir. This is one of Ireland's legends where four children are turned into swans by their evil stepmother.

Dublin City Gallery formally known as Hugh Lane Gallery -
The Gallery was founded in 1908 and has a collection of Yates history inside. The gallery also homes some modern artwork from Europe and further afield places. Not to be missed is the stained glass section and the sculpture hall.

Irish Writers Museum -
This museum is home to some of Ireland's most famous writers. With memorabilia, portraits, letters and photographs of three centuries worth of history from James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde and many more.

James Joyce Centre -
James is known as one of Ireland's most famous writers. Writing the famous Ulysses In June from the 9-17th people celebrate blooms day, with people coming from all over the world to celebrate. You may get to meet some of his relatives as they work in the museum

O’Connell Street -
One of Dublin's most famous streets. Formally known as Sackville Street until 1924 when it got changed to O’Connell Street to honour Daniel O’Connell. The street homes the general post office (GPO), which was used as the stronghold for the Irish Republican Army in the Easter Rising of 1916.

Jameson Distillery -
Jameson is part of an Irish Distillery company. It owns Powers Paddy and Bushmills brands. After you have taken the tour a complimentary drink is given. Also why not try seeing if you can tell the difference between Irish, Scottish whiskey.

Trinity College -
Trinity College is a working university where you can walk along the grounds of the campus and take a look at the Book of Kells, which is located in the Old Library. This contains 200,000 books in oak bookcases

Guinness Storehouse -
Home to Ireland's most famous brew. The storehouse offers tours of the working Brewery. Once you have seen how the black stuff is made hand in your entry ticket and exchange it for a well-earned pint. There is also the Gravity Bar, which offers a view of all around Dublin with a full view of 360 degrees.

National History Museum -
The museum was opened in 1857 as the Royal Dublin Society. It is now a zoological museum with a verity of animals many of which are endangered or extinct. There are roughly two million specimens on display that have been collect and to help with the research.

Christ Church Cathedral -
Dublin's oldest building. This has been a place of pilgrims and pray for over 1000 years. The Cathedral houses many architectural features & wonderful floor tiles, which combine to create a unique atmosphere. Treasures of Christ Church show examples of cathedral & parish silver & treasures. Also an audiovisual presentation illustrates the story of Christ church through the centuries.

St Patrick’s Cathedral –
Nearly 20 years younger than Christ Church, St Patrick’s stands on the oldest Christian site in Dublin. Christchurch was regarded as a cathedral of the establishment where as St Patrick’s was more of a cathedral for the people & this was because it was outside city walls, which meant it was removed from influences & regulations of government.

Dublin Castle –
Dublin Castle was built in 1204 & is often know as the Black Tower. It has served as the headquarters of the Dublin Metropolitan Police since the mid 19th century & housed the vice-regal offices & state apartments. It was handed over to the new Irish government in 1922. The castle is accessible to the public & provides guided tours.

Viking Adventure & Dublinia -
Both adventures take you back to when the Vikings arrived in Dublin. The Viking adventure re-crates the sights & sounds, as the Vikings knew it in medieval times. There is also a collection of artefacts, which were discovered in excavations at nearby Wood Quay.
