Open House 2011
OPENHOUSE DUBLIN – 7TH – 9TH OCTOBER 2011
This years annual Open House takes place from the 7th – 9th October. For the 6th year running over 100 historic Dublin Buildings will open up their doors to allow citizens and visitors to explore some otherwise unseen features of the city. With special tours run by professionals and enthusiasts this unique opportunity is completely free.
All Dublin Open House buildings have been specially selected for their architectural quality and innovation with many being award winners.
There will also be an “Open House Junior” which will feature a series of creative events, which will allow children to play Architect for a day, while special Open Space tours by foot, boat & bike will explore the spaces in between the buildings.
Belvedere House, Charlemount House, King’s Inns, No. 11 & No. 50 North Great Georges Street & No. 10 Henrietta Street are just some of the historic buildings in the local North Dublin Georgian Quarter which are open to the public between Saturday & Sunday.
