Thinking of travelling to Dublin this year and want to save some money on travel fares inside and outside of the City? Whether you are travelling alone, with a group of friends or with your family, you have to take advantage of the new Leap Card and save save save!!!
Leap Cards are great for tourists and Leap Card fares are cheaper than buying single tickets on Luas, DART, Dublin Bus and Commuter Rail services so it’s worth your while getting one, even if you are only spending a few days in Dublin. Leap Card can be used on ALL travel with DUBLIN BUS, including the AirLink, Xpresso and the Night Link and ALL LUAS and DART services. Use your Leap Card for all transport around the City Centre, even if it’s only a short one!!!
Take a trip with Dublin Bus or by DART to the popular fishing village of Howth to capture Howth Harbour, yachting and Traditional Irish Seafood restaurants. Take a stroll with a loved one or take the family to visit the lovely Irish Coast to view some fine views of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains and Boyne Valley beyond.
Visit Dundrum shopping centre by Dublin Bus or by Luas for a great day out for all the family with plenty of shops and restaurants you can shop till you drop!!
Pop on the DART to visit much-loved Malahide, Bray and Greystones or take a trip to the stunning Skerries which has the rocky and the sandy beach and has Europes only working 5 sail mill, pick up a nice gift or souvenir in the craft shop and relax in the Watermill Café before travelling back into the City.
YOU choose the amount you wish to put on your card and you can choose from €5 - €150 and can be used for all ages or you can choose an adult or child card. If you are coming into Dublin Airport you can buy your Leap Card in a number of shops in the arrivals hall before taking the bus, in Terminal 1 @ Easons & Kiosk and at Terminal 2 @ Spar.
Other places to buy Leap Card for Adults and Children are @ over 400 Leap Card agents around Dublin identified by the Leap Card logo on display. You can order before you make your trip to Dublin. Delivery takes up to 15 days.
